Fenugreek Oleoresin has been used in fishing bait for years, and will continue to be popular!
Some of the very best flavourings/extracts are based around Fenugreek, notably Maple, a curry type smell.
Fenugreek contains a number of volatile compounds as well as a Betaine molecule, said to be used as an appetite stimulator within feeds, thermogenic and one obviously Carp & Barbel like so much.

Recommended dosages are 1-2ml per kilo of feed, however err on the low side when using with other spice ingredients and essential oils.
